The Pigeons of Los Angeles Mini-Comic

This is my very first mini-comic book. By creating it, I could reconnect myself with my childhood dream of becoming an artist/author, which I had given up a long time ago.

The story of depressed pigeons appeared to me after researching pigeons, when I was struggling with my own predicament. The story turned out to be my cheerleader, not only to create this comic book as a first timer, but also to keep going despite the challenges I had. 

I wasn’t aware of this at first. I thought pigeons were misunderstood and mistreated, and I wanted to encourage them. Since the story came to me, I tackled the challenge of creating a comic. I could have easily given up if I hadn't had the encouragement from the pigeons in the story. I created the book and put it out in the world. At first, nothing happened, but gradually it found its way to be read by people. It took me to various comic fairs in the US, Canada, and the UK.

My wish is that this little comic book becomes your cheerleader, too.
