Book Signing Event @ Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 26, 2025

I will be signing at the Kinokuniya Bookstore booth during the LA Times Festival of Books. I feel so grateful to do this...

Kinokuniya Bookstore is the first bookstore that bought my self-published comic books 3 years ago. But I have known Kinokuniya since my teenage years in Japan.

I took a highway bus to Shinjuku, Tokyo, to look for a German picture book I saw in a magazine. You see, I lived in a rural area 2.5 hours away from Tokyo. The bookstore was a shining, tall building on a busy street with a sea of people. Multiple floors of books felt like my dream come true. Since then, I have visited the store every time I've gone to Shinjuku.

Some years later, I came to Southern California, and I was happy to find Kinokuniya here. They sell a variety of books in Japanese and English, Japanese stationery, art supplies, and cute gifts. I love to check out the store from time to time.

So it is surreal that I will be signing at their booth! I will sign my books and sell my stickers. I hope I will see you there. Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 3:15 pm - 5:00 pm.
